2-22-2010 (4:13 pm) Shutter Island, the product of Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese's liaison (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1130884/) has got my attention lately. Lots of good actors, thrilling, love, all that. Is that enough? Generally I'm not into this kind of movies but last weekend I saw this one, and man, it had all the stuff you could clump in one film. Nazis, loonies, detectives and crazy weather, and the lost love. I found some of the scenes with the concentration camp and later the bloody ones unnecessary and, I admit, rather shocking, but as I've said, this isn't my genre. This is also the kind of film I love till it's almost over. Just until the twist in the plot. What a brainf*ck. I still don't know what to think. Do you? |
