6-16-2009 (8:17 am) I would love to try and start an Autism forum. I have a 19 year old autistic daughter. I think it would be great if others who have autistic children can share their stories and thoughts. I really hope this catches on! |

10-01-2009 (1:53 am) Hey Jan H, I like the topic you've created here, I personally do not have an autistic child however I work with Autistic children/kids/teenagers of varying age ranges. I have to admit that the job is very rewarding and people dont really understand how difficult it can sometimes be to have an autistic child however i love working with them. Have you found any specific strategies that work well with your daughter? Specific activities, diets, deep pressure/touch? take care. |
