- Originally, the group was called “The Black Eyed Pods”.
- Founded and helped The Peapod Foundation, a foundation that supports children.
- It was during BEP’s Summer World Tour when Fergie recorded her debut album.
- BEP went on a World Tour, with The Pussycat Dolls and Flipsyde, in the summer of 2006.
- The group released a remix album entitled Renegotiations: The Remixes exactly on March 28, 2006.
- For proper radio broadcasting, their song entitled as “Don’t Phunk With My Heart” was changed into “Don’t Mess With My Heart” the same with their song “Let’s Get Retarded” which turned out to be “Let’s Get It Started”.
- Their music really hit the industry as their song “Hey Mama” played in an iPod commercial and even included in the movie soundtrack of films like “Along Came Polly” and “Garfield”.
- Their single, “Pump it” was also chosen and actually appeared on the big screen in the movie “Big Mama’s House 2”.
Fergie, a member of the Black Eyed Peas, had a taste of fame at an early age. At 8 years old, she was the voice of Sally, Charlie Brown's litle sister in the popular Charlie Brown movies.

- Since their third album "Elephunk" in 2003, the group has sold an estimated 35 million albums worldwide and 21 million singles, and 56 million copies with both sales combined.
