9-16-2010 (8:37 am) 1) You better contact Google b/c you are still being flagged. It could take a day for google to remove this and I can assure you the problem is fixed. We work with a few third party ad agencies that run multiple campaigns from multiple advertisers. That's just the way the industry is. One of the new advertisers wasn't vetting well enough and their ad code was inserted into the ad mix along with all the other good ads. Our own malware scanning software didn't catch it for a few hours after it was introduced and we're trying to figure that out and fix it. Once it was identified, we removed it.2) How do you allow such an advertiser to even get through the filters to begin with? |

So what was installed on our computers while this ad was being run through the site? How much junk is on my computer now? |

9-16-2010 (10:18 am) Nothing as far as I can tell. It never got that far but I'd run adaware or any other anti virus program to be sure So far, in the last 2 minutes, I received 2 Java programs that tried to run on my computer. Internet Explore is not blocking the Ad like Chrome and FF. |

A trojan tried to install on my computer (Trojan:Win32/Alureon.EC) According to Windows Defender and McAphee detect 14 other file and delete them... Serious thing going on... |

Well we aren't showing any ads right now so there shouldn't be anything trying to install on your computer. I'm looking into it though. maybe it's not a banner ad at all and something more sinister. |

9-16-2010 (11:14 am) If someone can capture a URL or a screen shot of the banner ad that is offending that would be a big help I'll keep checking back every day using FF, but in the meantime I'll use IETab within FF so I'm still getting my music and points. Hopefully this block within FF will stop soon. |

9-16-2010 (11:17 am) If someone can capture a URL or a screen shot of the banner ad that is offending that would be a big help Here's what Google Chrome is telling:Malicious software is hosted on 1 domain(s), including blamesllek.com/. This site was hosted on 1 network(s) including AS20473 (CHOOPA). Actually, I'm using FF to access the forum but I can listen to music since Google blocked it. Obviously, Google Chrome put a big Warning page before opening your site. When I got "attacked" I was using Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7. I'M actually scanning my computer to be sure. So far, these "crap" probably didn't had time to do any damage on my computer... Let's hope. Just showing how secure is Internet Explorer... |

I listen to .977 on my work computer. The company I work for cannot afford for my computer to contract a virus...is it safer for me to not listen to this station for a length of time? |

9-16-2010 (11:50 am) Nice find Blackwolf. This will help a bit Don't forget to clear your cache? Can someone else confirm that the malware is gone? I'm not getting it anymore but I'd like a few other people to confirm this too. |

My computer just finished a scan through Malwarebytes and it indicated that the source was: funwebdesigns.com Does that sound familiar or make sense to you? I cleared everything out but still a little weary. |
