Concert goers to a Punk Rock concert in Indonesia were caught off guard when authorities raided, detaining the punk rockers, forcibly shaved their Mohawks and held them for “re-education”.

Immediately those who were on the scene were forced to brush their teeth and take a group bath for “spiritual cleansing” all after having their Mohawks forcibly shaved.

“We didn’t hurt anyone,” he told the AP after his Mohawk haircut was shaved off. “This is how we’ve chosen to express ourselves. Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum is Expanding

country music hall fame museum Nashvilles Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum is ExpandingThanks in part to a generous donation by the Country Music Association, and the donations of many others, Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is set to expand.

The Country Music Association has recently pledged ten million towards towards the  Working on a Building: Country Music Lives Here campaign. This is the single largest donation ever made by the Country Music Association and will allow Nashville’s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, which originally opened in 1967, to more than double in size in 2014 to over 350,000 square feet.

Madonna Signs Three Album Deal with Universal/Interscope

Madonna recently signed a three album deal with Universal Music Group’s Interscope for $3 million. The new contract is in addition to  her ongoing 10 year contract with Live Nation (which she signed in 2007; potentially worth as much as $100 million).  Madonna joins existing Interscope artists including Lady GagaP Diddy and 50 Cent.

Live Nation CEO Irving Azoff originally mentioned in Feburary that a marger could happen for the star sometime later in the year. ”Live Nation, prior to the merger, entered into some of these all-rights deals, so there are certain artists, Madonna being one of them, that there is a recorded-music strategy,” Azoff said. “Once she gets the album recorded, we’ll sit down with her and her manager, Guy Oseary, and figure out what’s best for the record. It has to start with the music.”

On Friday December 2nd, Billboards held their 7th annual Billboard Women in Music event at Capitale in New York. Stars Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj were both honored in the event with Taylor Swift awarded “Woman of the Year” and Nicki Minaj awarded “Rising Star”.

December 6th marks the release of Amy Winehouse‘s posthumous album “Lioness: Hidden Treasures”.

Mitch Winehouse, Amy’s father stated, “The family view was nothing was going to go out unless it was comparable to ‘Frank’ or ‘Back To Black’. If it wasn’t as good as that then we wouldn’t have allowed it to go out.”
