There is no doubt that Lady Gaga’s ‘Edge of Glory’
, which was released last week, is a pure pop song. And while the fans may still be getting used to it, the song’s co-producer Fernando Garibay has told the media that he is surprised that the track has been released by Gaga and her team.
Garibay said that while the album’s title track ‘Born This Way’

was a statement song, ‘Edge of Glory’ is a very personal song, in which the singer has put a lot of heart and soul. Speaking in an interview with MTV, he remarked, “It is very personal and very real; it’s a real moment.” The co-producer’s other half on the production front of the song was DJ White Shadow, who had earlier commented that Gaga’s vocal delivery on ‘Edge of Glory’ was very impressive. “This song’s had room for her too … this is her natural tone. The vocal was one take. The whole thing from top to bottom was her, just backstage singing it all the way through,” he had said in a separate sit-down before the song’s release.

Joe Jonas is scheduled to release his debut solo song ‘See No More’ on 3rd June, with its digital copy being made available for the fans to download from 13th June. The whole album is slated for a September 2011 release and the middle brother of the famous band of siblings, is excited for everyone to give him feedback on how he fared on ‘See No More,’ a track on which he was assisted during the production phase by R&B singer Chris Brown.

When there is an event hosted by Britney Spears everyone comes running, and that’s precisely what happened on May 11, when the pop diva and her family organized a private event for the benefit of the St. Bernard Project and several mainstream celebrities showed up to support Britney’s cause. In attendance at the Beverley Hills-held event were teen singer Selena Gomez, celebutante Kim Kardashian, actress/singer Hillary Duff and fashion model Kellan Lutz, among others. The St. Bernard Project is a Louisiana-based charity organization, which has assumed the responsibility of repairing the homes and lives of those who were affected by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
Death Cab for Cutie had long said that they want to revisit their roots through their next album, even though they are not entirely sure where their actual home is. What the band wanted to convey through their new album ‘Codes and Keys’ was the thought that home could be the physical place where we live, or the space in between our ears or anything else. After all, every person is such a large collection of ‘memories’ that a connection with the past can be made every second and hence, the band’s concept of the home comes into play.
Just a week has passed since the full release of Lady Gaga’s latest music video ‘Judas’ and her critics and fans are still busy in gathering their thoughts. The video star Rick Gonzalez, who played the role of Jesus, is also going through the same feelings and in an interview with MTV News earlier today, he said that his time with Team-Gaga was surreal.
