Forbes recently named Lady Gaga the Top-Earning Woman in Music; in 2011 alone the fame monster brought in an astounding $90 million in earnings.
Lady Gaga is in the news yet again. According to Forbes Lady Gaga generated $90 during 2011, thanks to strong sales on her ‘Born This Way’ album, Monster Ball Tour, and various endorsements. Looking at the success the Fame Monster has achieved in such a short time, it’s clear Lady Gaga has an dedicated fan base, and her style and pizazz only helps grow.However truth be told, a remarkably large gap separates the “Bad Romance” songstress from the runners up. Second place earner Taylor Swift brought in $45 million, after a strong year of sales in 2010 with her album “Speak Now”. Third place winner Katy Perry brought in slightly less at $44 million, thanks to her “Teenage Dream” album with which she scored five number one singles.
