



Tina Arena
Tina grew up in the Melbourne suburb of Moonee Ponds.
She married former manager Ralph Carr in 1995,but is now separated.
Tina started on Young Talent Time (YTT) in 1976 at age 7.
Tina left YTT in 1984 at age 16.
After YTT Tina and her YTT partner,John (ny) Bowles recorded an album
called "Tiny Tina and Little John"
her first post YTT single "Turn Up The Beat". was Released in 1985
In 1987 Tina was in the stage musical "NINE" solo number "The Grand Canal"
Towards the later 80's, Tina played with resident band Network at Melbourne's Grainstore Tavern,
Tina was in another musical called "DYNAMITE" during 1990.
her first post YTT album, "Strong As Steel" (1990), recorded for EMI Australia.
attained Gold record status in Australia (35,000 copies) and reached 17 on the charts.
re-released in 1996 by Sony
"I Need Your Body" became the highest selling Australian artist single for 1990.
