Sweet was a popular 1970s British glam rock band.
Sweet's origins go back to 1965, with UK soul band "Wainwright's Gentlemen", which included drummer Mick Tucker and vocalist Ian Gillan.
In March 1971, "Funny Funny" became their first international hit, climbing to the Top 20 on man
In May and June 2008, Sweet were part of the "Glitz Blitz & 70s Hitz" tour of the UK alongside The Rubettes and Showaddywaddy.y of the world's charts.
