Joe Cocker

  • John Robert "Joe" Cocker (born 20 May 1944) is an English rock/blues singer who came to popularity in the 1960s.
  • He is most known for his gritty voice and his cover versions of popular songs, particularly those of The Beatles.
  • In 2007, Cocker appeared playing minor characters in the film, Across the Universe, as the lead singer on another Beatles hit, "Come Together".
